This is where I wish my French was good enough to understand all the jokes and humour. As you can see from the cover this is a collection of covers and stories from a fictional comic magazine, Debiling Stories Magazine. It’s a sort of 2000 AD meets Wasted meets Mad Magazine.
There is the tale of an octopus that decides to visit Paris…not a very warm ending to that one. “Generation Bio 2040 L’Age D’Oraison” has some really nice artwork –in fact, this is very pleasing art and colour throughout. Reminds me in a way of the good old comic annuals we used to get at Christmas. Whether war, film, science –each strip delivers the goods art-wise (there are some nice visual gags) …”Space Monsters Invaders Of Tomorrow’s War” love it.
And I have no idea if “Debiling” has a specific meaning as I’ve looked it up but cannot find it.
