You will have to wait until this weeks comic con in San Diego for the news but the internet is a-buzz with the official rumoured DC Comics movies. It seems lots of cameos in Justice League -"like in Marvels Avengers movie" ...yeah, those were not cameos.
I'm guessing that they think "a lot of super heroes in a movie makes millions and millions!!" but just have not realised that is not what the Avengers was about nor how it got bums on seats.

There has yet to be any statement from Warner Bros to neither confirm nor deny this information however the consensus is that these will be announced at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. This would mean that the studio is up to give the super-successful Marvel films a run for their money in the production of comic book movies.
This reported list of films not only shows a high frequency and
somewhat urgency on the part of the Warner Bros film studio to make new
films to compete with the aforementioned Marvel studios, who currently
have a strong grip on the comic book movie market. This also shows the
risks they may be willing to take with movies like “Shazam” or “The
Sandman” or even a Green Lantern/Flash team up film. Not to mention how
Wonder Woman has not been treated with the proper big screen treatment
due to the studio feeling it would be too risky to make.
As of right now, the only two films that have been confirmed by
Warner Bros and DC Comics have been the much anticipated “Batman v
Superman: Dawn of Justice” and a “Justice League” film both of which
being directed by Zack Snyder and following the events of 2013′s “Man of
Steel”

Now, don't get me wrong but, just as it always lagged behind Marvel in the good old comic days by "not really getting it", DC is continuing that old habit with movies. And what the feck is wrong with comic fans? Before the Batman v Superman movie has even been made they are criticising it and saying how awful it is.
Just like fans left screeching comments such as "THAT IS NOT HOW IT F******** HAPPENED!!!" after certain episodes of Avengers:Earths Mightiest Heroes when they were on You Tube.
1) Animated series are not 100% based on the comics
2) Movies are definitely not 100% based on the comics
Even the comics these days are NOT based on the comics! So many re-boots since the 1980s its a joke to sell a book title "Official Guide To The DC Universe and Characters"....it's out of date before you've paid for it.

There have been reports about an ambitious film schedule that reportedly will have seven DC Comic-based films the likes of which will be “Shazam,” The Sandman,” and a long-awaited “Wonder Woman” film. Uh, I ******* well don't! Are they really this dead for ideas? Hey, DC -why not bring out a comic series, say twelve issues, and call it....I dunno...Crisis On Infinite Earths Zero Hour Secret Identity? Just an idea.
