Imagine a world where everyone has superpowers.

That is, except you.

You are the same old turgid, miserable, lonely loser, you've always been. What's needed is a return to normality, to devolve back from Superhuman to just human - and there's only one man for the job: down-at-heal, divorced New York plumber, Michael Fisher.

Well, before I even noticed the cover credit I'd seen the art and it screamed out D'Israeli!

To be honest I have never ever read Titan Comics.  I just do not go to comic shops any more so I don't see them.  What I've seen of the various trades, however, does tell me there is some good grapefruit out there (but as a diabetic I mustn't have grapefruit...ahhh. An explanation).

Let me start off by saying that this is a very well written story and the pacing is also very well done.  The little twists and turns in the story make it a great read.

Now, the art.  D'Israeli has a unique colouring style that stands out like a nuclear blast in a MacDonalds. You see it and realise someone who really knows colour is at work.  And if you are going to write a story like this you want someone who has the skill to make it a truly unforgettable book.  D'Israeli.

The detail, architecture -none of it can ever be faulted.  And take a look at the pages that follow because if this doesn't convince you to buy a copy -it goes on sale 18th November so don't be dumb and get ripped off by buying over-priced back issues! This will go on my shelf next to D'Israeli's War of The Worlds trilogy (that he did the art on).

Surely this is a must buy???
