TAKEOVER 2015 Applications Now Open!

TAKEOVER 2015

Saturday 9th May, 12pm - 7pm

In the second event of our Takeover series, we'll be taking over 47/49 Tanner Street with a day that champions all radical publishing - from its independent bookshops and publishers to its DIY-ers; the small press, self-publishers, and zinesters.

To take part as an exhibitor, please apply for a table here.

We welcome applications from all - from zinesters, comic folk, book artists, or illustrators; whether you use a photocopier or a printing house; have been doing it for years or just starting out.

For those new to self-publishing, we're bringing back our First Publications Corner which last year introduced Prowl House, Querstret, and Wobbly Rock amongst others to the AP zine scene. The First Publications Corner is open to all first time exhibitors.

Please note spaces are limited. Deadline for all applications is 5pm on Monday 30th March.

Workshops and talks programme to be announced soon.

And in other AP News....

Zine Fair with the awesome Minesweeper Collective at Birds Nest, Deptford on Sunday 22nd March! Free but limited table space so get in touch ASAP if you would like to take part. All info here.

Call for Artists! Our friends at Strongroom are on the hunt for a different artist each month to design their flyers and we thought we would give them a hand! Interested? A £50 bar tab up for grabs along with your work all over Shoreditch for a month and in an AP exhibition next year. All info and March's flyer by the super talented Kat Kon here.

And a heartfelt thank you to all who supported our fundraising campaign for the build of our A Room Of One's Own installation in honour of International Women's Day 2015. Over 50 artists, feminists, supporters and families joined us on Sunday and took part in community drawing, writing and mark making. A stop motion film commemorating the day coming soon!

Till then, AP xxx
