This year I have made my position clear to the Harvey Awards and that I will no longer vote because after all these years real independent creators are not included or recognised but are still treated as "peripheral".
Last year I pushed for Donna Barr and to try to get some recognition for Roberta Gregory who was a pioneer in comics. Lame excuses. I can no longer support or vote for an awards system that merely maintains the status quo.
So I won't be popular.
Who cares?
