Well, I have to say that seeing so many retards on UK comic forums cheering and practically wetting their pants when I announced Black Tower Comics was going has cemented the reason WHY the UK has no comics industry.
"Nice guy" pros should hang their heads in shame because they are ensuring there will never again be a comic industry. These morons, some with not a great deal of talent, have helped to seal even their own end in comics -though I suspect from things written that they actually believe they will be the only ones to continue working in comics. Some I suspect are happy to see the industry die because then they become "legendary UK comic creator--insert name--!"
It's a pity that those long term, or just plain ordinary UK comic fans, do not speak up because I used to see a lot of them hearing the nastiness and snide remarks. I guess they'd sooner retreat into their own worlds where comics and everyone involved are "just great!"
But isn't it interesting that these "nice guy" pros will do all their talking on their closed blogs (they think) and on comic forums....but what they are saying comes from things they have read on CBO!
