Alright.  Let's get one thing out of the way first: "Alan Moore, the man who revolutionized comics" to which I can only respond "Grow up you moronic trendy comic shit-head!"  Seriously, I am sure that Moore loves this myth and when people who were not even born when, say Watchmen was published keep reciting this mantra it shows how pointless they are.  Moore was a more-or-less spent force after the first League of Extraordinary Gentlemen...and the fact that he churned over that series so many times for a quick buck and to get his much needed publicity should tell you everything.

"I am the new 'Jack Kirby' ripped off by the Big Corporate Guys!" is pure bull-shit.  Moore signed his contract so he KNEW what he was agreeing to.  Where is all the money going that the Watchmen books make -isn't he getting a penny?

And I have to say that his stories and scripts are -as in this case- just "re-mixes" of all his previous scripts including LOEG.  I had to -seriously- struggle to read through this.  Put it down several times then tried again.  I do not like it when I read a story and just think "Yawn.  Oh...sex again....hmmm...graphic violence...yawn!"  And when you sit there and realise that you do not really care if any of the characters survive that is bad.

Problem is that Moore has not been very original for twenty years -though I enjoyed Tom Strong til he did his usual screeching  "I'm leaving" routine -it has been suggested that when he runs out of ideas he does this.  Would explain a lot from the man who hates and despises comics and comic readers as well as the industry and has left "for good" more times than a Victorian prostitute dropped her knickers in a week.

Give a new writer a chance and stop giving Moore a boner every time he googles himself.

The artwork is nice but contains the usual over the top Avatar style graphic violence which I find exceedingly boring.  And that is a pity because Andrade's art is very detailed and deserves a better title. The art alone cannot hold a book together but in this case it sort of does because you look at the art and try to escape the story!

I know Alan Moore fans will buy this.  Alan Moore fans are going to scream like little babies because I dared insult the snicker "Great Mage" but tough.  I know you cheer Moore and all his "free speech" crap with its inaccurate information and twisted facts so why can't you people accept someones opinion...oh, because it is not Moore.  I see.
