Kotar & Sabutathe Third Level Sorcerors have been with me since....1969! Wow. Anyway, here is one of those "quiet days at home" adventures by the inimitable Ben R. Dilwrth!
Wow. So these characters have been with you since you were 12? How much of their world did you create at that time, how much have they had in story time since and are there any in your books?
The real life K&S sanctum was the inside of an old bedside cabinet. Felt 'floor' chairs, the works. Every character I made back then I knew the back story of though I didn't want to delve into that in comics until the 1980s. They've grown older but one day I want to do the K&S book -origins and more. ALL my stories used to be in exercise books (lost long ago) and one off adventures I drew for brother Mike when he was younger. But K&S have been Black Tower regulars since...1984.
That's a great shame about your exercise books. Do you have a pretty good idea/outline about what was in them? Not to duplicate I suppose, though you have an outstanding memory, but probably a recreation, with possible improvements based upon what you may remember.
That's what I'm doing. Trying to get back into the flow of things. Tried dropping some of my daily intake to save the schillings and the old problem started coming back. Seems like the family has it in for me if I don't keep 'em up. Many is the time I could wish for a different mother. Found some old inked stuff and trying to emulate it, but they were done with sable and the brush pen didn't cut it. Will have to buy some sables because all my effective work seemed to have been done with those. Rob last said he would like to see some new work of mine, but I know he was really a fan of Bib's.

DeleteI remember some. They were pretty basic and I think I'll try to re-do some as part of a K&S book IF I ever finish Green Skies and continue drawing.
