Frank Zappa explains the decline of the music business

If you listen to what Frank Zappa (if you have no idea who he is....Google him) says here then you will realise that it is also very true about the comics industry.

In the late 1960s and early 1970s the "hip cool guys" got into comic companies in the UK and the US. Yeah, they came up with some good ideas but these hip/cool guys also started destroying the comics industry.

Blame radio. Blame TV. Blame video.  Blame computer games -or the internet. Blame anything other than your good old back-stabbing 'pals' (who today are reinventing themselves as ground breaking comic genius' in the day).

The old time, hard working professionals who helped build and maintain the business were replaced by the fan boy who really had no idea how to edit or run a publishing business. You CANNOT argue with that because there are over 40 years of history that proves the the point over and over again.

Look at comics today. Okay, the UK isn't even a minor force in the industry...oh, I wonder why?  But the US and the whole SJW and anti SJW where politics has taken over as well as openly insulting, trolling and harassing fans being part of the new "Marvel Way" now -and their sales are equivalent to a small independent publisher.

If Disney ever wanted Marvel Comics to continue and sell....

BRING BACK JIM SHOOTER
