I did promise to be open about sales (or non sales) for Black Tower Comics and Books as there is a policy of openess -you will not find publishers willing to do this and most hide sales and so on. Then I am a "comic book maverick and outcast"!
Anyway, the constant posting of "0s" was getting a bit boring :-)
I have tried everything I can for a solid 5 years working until 0200/0300 hrs daily and what I post has gotten many many thousands of views from around the world. But absolutely no sales. It makes absolutely no sense but it is still a fact.
I've tried similarly to get money coming into CBO -because the viewing figures are no joke and it's a ready made audience. Advertisers -the only ones interested were porn and gambling based and they are NOT getting on here. I've tried other publishers who do well from CBO publicity -no interest. I have tried Patreon, GoFundMe and others -including the donation bops to the right. Nothing. Not one single glimmer of interest.
I did state that there was a CBO deletion date if I could not make the site pay in some way for all the work that goes into it. That date is still set on the calendar and when CBO goes all you'll be left with are company mouthpieces who take comic fans for fools. Is that what comic fans like?
So the Black Tower Face Book page will close in December 2020 unless the business drags itself out of the quicksand. Not much point continuing if it does not.
And CBO will go this year.
I did just laugh out loud because, if after 20 plus decades, no one has ever given a damn why would they now??
Anyway, cards are on the table and not being played close to the chest.
