Spirou and Fantasio are famous – among other things, as the official discoverers of that legendary creature, the Marsupilami, one of which often accompanies them on their adventures.
So when one of their conferences is cancelled in favour of a documentary film from an unknown author, they are understandably irritated… until, that is, they realise the film is the very first to record the family life of wild Marsupilamis!
How bad is my eye sight at the moment? I looked for Marsupilama and this book on the web page...nothing. Word of advice: if your series is SPIROU & FANTASIO then that should be more prominent on the cover and not smaller than the story title.
The book itself is fun with our title characters getting up to the usual shennanigans and the Marsupilami sequence is a story in itself...which...since it is a story...just hang on in there. The one thing I've noticed with these books is that the art is clean and the colours are nice and crisp and far better than some of the foreign language editions I've seen.
If you are a fan of Marsupilami or Spirou & Fantasion then I'll not need to explain the charm of the series. If you are unfamiliar with them -there are books. Some 17 in fact and Ihad not realised there were that many...though my creaking book shelves had!
Forget the grimness out in the world and have a chuckle...or pretend you are buying this "for the kids" (they'll never know).
