Created in 1972, The Time Brigade is a sci-fi series written for French SF author Claude J. Legrand and drawn by Spanish artist Edmond Ripoll, the creator of Jan Europa and Doctor Impossible. The Time Brigade monitors a segment of the time-space continuum from six billion years ago to one million years in the future. It is based in the 41st century and operates with teams of agents called a "Hand," reporting to an AI known as the “Thumb.”

This book collects the first three adventures of Hand-28, comprised of Coordinator Khanor Rhi, time sensitive Varna Zelton, and new agent Jason Spell, an archaeologist from the 20th century.

They learn that Vivien seized the Holy Grail, and its mysterious powers enabled her to protect Camelot. She sees the Brigade as a threat to the existence of her world, and seeks to kill them. Our heroes are delivered by PARSIFAL, king of the Nuclear Knights, descendants of Arthur and the Round Table. But they soon discover that this Camelot is a rigid techno-medieval nightmare, from which all progress is banned. Parsifal realizes that the Brigade is a threat to him too, and also wants to destroy them...

This fantasy epic by Jean-Marc Lofficier and Timothy J. Green II (Fraction, Aeon Flux, Rush City, Starlord, Immortal Iron Fist) rewrites the Arthurian mythos against a sci-fi background..
