Two Other Figure Conversions

I had a set of 5" Scooby-Doo figures (I think I might have mentioned that before?) and I had two Vampires. I wondered whether I should try to convert it in some way. I wanted a Nosferatu (one based on a character in Black Tower).

So I ended up with a Nosferatu!

I also had a second "Monster" that would not stand up. During production something went wrong and even using hot water to try to twist the leg back into a position by which it could stand did not work.

I ended up with Eustace Edward Case -The Man Shackled By Time!

If you get a chance try a figure conversion. I've tried it on 1/32nd scale figures (54mm) and now 3.75 inch action figures and...5 inch figures. It can be fun!

  1. I haven't seen the Doom Patrol Tv show I'll have to look it up, but recently ... last week, I think, I watched the good old Nosferatu ! Yup. Black and white is best! I've forgotten the name of the movie, but I also watched a movie based on the gothic myth of the making of Nosferatu staring Willem Dafoe. Atmospheric, brooding and well worth a watch. E E Case looks good, too... I like the watch and chain... Kinda reminiscent of my predicament... waiting... waiting...just waiting...
Well, have a good day. Talk to you again.

  2. The TV Doom Patrol is quite sweary and very adult but fun. The Shadow of the Vampire is the movie about the making of Nosferatu with Willem Dafoe and is a great movie. Sounds like you need a lot of distractions -if you can get hold of them the three Wesley Snipes Blade movies are great fun to watch.
