This Island Earth had some cool mutants - but they looked 'clunky'....these figures look sleek and cool by comparison! I wonder if the Interrossiter designed these figures....
Modern sensibilities....also cost cutting as chunkier figures take more plastic! I think if an alien machine was behind the design it would have made them chunkier!
