Ja, Das war Ich!

 Odd message today from someone who asked if I was the English kid who used to draw comics in Dalborn, Germany.  Apparently he was one of the kids we played "Auto!" with. 

I should explain. It was a tiny village with a road going through it but little traffic so we played football on it. Every time a car was heard or seen the call went out -"AUTO!" and we cleared the road until it went past and then resumed play.  

Normally a bunch of us would be out exploring the forest or local countryside. Apparently the fella just asked out of curiosity. That was it!
