Just had a Face Book chat with someone I've known a long time. He asked "Do you remember ----(comic artist) who kept leering at those two young girls?" He then referenced something I have mentioned before when two UK based comic creators were drunk at a Bristol Comic Expo and climbed a tree to try to get into a young woman's room -they were caught by staff.
We've had Gaiman cancelled for his private life. Warren Ellis. It goes on and on. One day someone is going to get the backbone to come forward and speak out about what they know -there are people more intimately involved than myself. All those "comic nice guys" have bullied and threatened for years and tried black listing people who have spoken our -or tried to.
I only mention this here for the record as there is a LOT of private group chats where people are named.
what an industry...if you can call it that in 2025
