Some of the pronunciations on this are weird. We don't say "A-VON" but "A-VUN" and some of the history facts were slightly off. Bristol NEVER hid its part in the slave trade nor its part in the abolition of slavery. We were taught about the slave trade at school. Basically it was bits and pieces picked up off various sites, written and AI(?) voiced. Still at least no mention of Irish raiders and Irish slave raiders attacking Sea Mills. Potted histories should at least tell the correct stories.
