Mike Ploog stands out for his macabre horror stories he did for such titles as

Werewolf by Night, Frankenstein, Ghostrider, Conan, Planet of the Apes

and Creepy during the 1970s

In his graphic novel ‘The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus’, Ploog showed the lighter and more

nostalgic side of his talent.

He has also worked on several other Marvel series. However, Mike Ploog spent most of his career

as a designer and storyboard artist in Hollywood
