Nigel’s life has been turned upside down. People close to him have died, he’s on the run from a shadowy government organisation that uses fairies to hunt magical creatures, and he is … the last of the genies! Waking up in the sanctuary created by none other than Merlin, he finds himself the last chance of a dying people, their last hope for survival and freedom. Is he ready to shoulder such a heavy burden, though?

If I am sitting on the fence regarding the new Cinebook title SAM, well, I'm not on Wisher!

I thought the first book was great but this one starts with a fantastic cover Latour gives us a great story while De Vita delivers on the art.  Art which -again- just leaps out at you because of the superb colour work of Christian Favrelle.

Only thing I thought was odd was that the bad guys shoot a gargoyle and it hits a bus.  Okay.  But then a bad guy says:

"If any idiots brag about photos of this, they'll be paying a visit to Buckingham Palace!"

Now, "brag about photos" seems odd but WHY go to Buckingham Palace? Okay, they say they represent HM Government but if they are suggesting severe punishment ought that not be: "They'll be paying a vist to the Tower of London!"?

But everything else just lush!
