Kevin Smith last directed Season Two’s Runaway Dinosaur
episode of The Flash which remains one of the most highly acclaimed episodes of
the show. Kevin Smith took his good friend Jason Menes and cast him to make an
appearance in that episode.
Now, Smith is set to cast another pal of his for this weeks
episode entitled Killer Frost. Smith’s co-host of Geeking Out, Greg Grunberg,
will be joining in the episode. According to Mashable, Gruberg will be
portraying a police officer named Tom Patterson, an important figurehead of the
Central City Police Department, who does everything he can to protect his city
from rampaging meta-humans.
Here’s the official episode synopsis for Killer Frost. The
episode is set to premiere on Tuesday November 22 across screens worldwide.
Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) uses her powers to save Barry
(Grant Gustin), but as her mother predicted, the effort unleashes her inner
Killer Frost. Killer Frost goes on a rampage looking for Dr. Alchemy,
kidnapping Julian (Tom Felton) and battling both The Flash and Vibe (Carlos
Valdes). Meanwhile, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and H.R. (Tom Cavanagh) have a heart
to heart talk.
