PLEASE Consider Supporting CBO

Please consider supporting Comic Bits Online because it is a very rare thing in these days of company mouthpiece blogs that are only interested in selling publicity to you. With support CBO can continue its work to bring you real comics news and expand to produce the video content for this site. Money from sales of Black Tower Comics & Books helps so please consider checking out the online store.

George A. Romero and Martin Landau

photo Getty Images

George A. Romero has died.  He quite literally changed horror movies and even added touches of sci fi into them.  There would be no Evil Dead comic or TV series nor hundreds of other zombie related movies if not for his influence.

And Martin Landau. Commander John Koenig of Moon Base Alpha in Space 1999. Germany had Raumpatrouille Orion and Australia Phoenix 5 and the US Star Trek...Space 1999 is fondly remembered around the world.  Or...was he Bela Lugosi in Ed Wood?

A great movie maker and a great actor who will not be forgotten.
