We have received the terribly sad news that William Vance, original artist of the series "XIII", died today aged 82.
Mr Vance had also illustrated other cult series such as Bruno Brazil and Bob Morane, but he will probably be remembered most for putting his name to the first 18 volumes of the series, before passing the torch to Youri Jigounov.
A legend of the comics world is gone tonight. Our thoughts go to his family and friends.
