After the events of The Time Opener, Valerian and Laureline reverted to childhood, and are now living with Mr Albert on 21st century Earth. But in a universe where time travel is a reality, words like ‘after’ or even ‘now’ can be somewhat … hazy, and elsewhere, in other times, our young but nonetheless adult agents are still working tirelessly to maintain a galactic peace threatened as always by greed and the thirst for power.
According to Cinebook on their website this book is not "out of stock". Do NOT give up, though, as you may find it on an online retailer or at a local bookstore.
Having not seen the movie (not out of choice) I cannot comment on it though I am told it is not really like the comic series. Well, the series itself has so much weirdness and can be slightly mind blowing at times and maybe, as with the Marvel movies with decades of comic material to draw on, the movie was a case of pick and choose.
Whatever, if you want a good fun read with quirky characters and situations with lovely art then your main choice has to be Valerian and Laureline -and there are a lot of book options including the collected editions.
