After the disaster that was their first mission, the SAS refused to give up, and their second wave of raids proved a powerful validation of the concept behind their unit. Unfortunately, they still have many enemies at headquarters, and now they must capitalise on their success. While they lack neither daring nor imagination, they will have to contend with an enemy who knows how to adapt, and learn to live with the terrible human cost of the war …

The Regiment - The True Story of the SAS Book 2

Uniforms, equipment -all look spot on. The art is lovely and the colours add more to the scenes so this is a treat fior the eyes and if you like war comics then this is for you. Action mixed in with history -though some might mention that certain characters get too good a portrayal. Hopefully we don’t get to see the bloated, blackened tongues of a trooper lost in the desert drinking his owen urine!

Book 1 was a good, solid read so is book 2. Only thing missing is little Johnny Mills, Harry Andrews and Dirk Bogarde!
