A new exploit for HELGA FRANKENSTEIN (the patchwork daughter of the infamous Victor Frankenstein!) and SISTER GENEVIEVE (vampire nun!) in the hidden European land of GOLGOTHICA (where ungodly creatures of every shape and kind, living in relative peace with mortal men!)

Genevieve searches out famous genius, NIKOLA TESLA, for his help in finding a cure for the vampire virus. Meanwhile the dangerous undead authorities are closing in on her and Helga for sinister reasons of their own and they have the powerful GOLEM police force under their control.

What dangerous experiments with DOCTOR JEKYLL's formula have they in mind... And what will it mean for Helga and Genevieve?

Just in case you never got the point there are three Helga Frankenstein books...

All three are very readable and very much fun  and John Short has proven (with Rev. Cross,  Savage! Jungle Princess etc) that he can write a good story with action, adventure and some tongue-in-cheek humour where needed. I would rate him as one of the best modern British comic writers and I have seen his work going back to the 1980s Small Press scene.   With Kult Creations I think he has proven his abilities beyond any doubt.

I was asked what made me such a big fan of Gabrielle Noble's work. I love it. Don't question why I like it either as it caught my eye the first time I opened a magazine at a comic expo and saw  Spliffy The Stoner Chick.  I like her black and white work and her colour work is superb. Noble knows how to set a scene and  how to pose the characters with greatest effect and the colours used to set scenes are used to great effect so that each page grabs the eye (or "eyes" if you have two).

An undead nun. A "Daughter of Frankenstein". Golerm police force. Vampires. Nikolai Tesla...the only thing missing is...hang on.,...nope. Nothing missing: it is all here. The print quality is superb and that helps make this a trilogy well worth buying for your long (or short) box or book shelf.

Do I recommend this book...you're kidding, right? YES!!
