More Guests For Malta Comic Con 2013

CHARLIE “THE WALKING DEAD” ADLARD AND SEAN “FATALE” PHILLIPS WILL BE RAISING THE DEAD AT MALTA COMIC CON 2013!

Wicked Comics are proud to announce that acclaimed British creators Charlie Adlard (The Walking Dead) and Sean Phillips (Fatale) will be joining Ian Churchill (Marineman) as guests to this year Malta Comic Convention which will be happening on the 30th November and 1st December at St James Cavalier.

Having worked on a number of projects including The X-Files (Topps Comics), Savage (2000 AD) and Curse of the Wendigo (Soleil Productions), Charlie Adlard is perhaps best known for his work on Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead (Image Comics). Adlard started working on The Walking Dead on which the hit AMC TV series is based, in issue 7 and has been resident artist since. Similarly, Sean Phillips has worked on numerous comics including Wildstorm’s WildC.A.T.s and Sleeper, Marvel Zombies (Marvel Comics) and 7 Psychopaths (Boom! Studios) but is perhaps best known for his frequent collaborations with writer Ed Brubaker on renowned titles such as Icon’s Incognito and Criminal and Image Comics’ Fatale.

Along with fellow Wicked Comics members Chris Muscat and Fabio Agius, I first met Charlie Adlard during Bristol Comic Expo 2008. I remember us chatting about the possibility of holding the first ever comic convention in Malta and the chances of The Walking Dead being picked up for a TV Series. Five years later and not only has Season 4 of The Walking Dead TV Series been confirmed, but we’re proud to finally confirm Charlie and Sean as guests to the 5th Edition of the Malta Comic Con. Consequently, we cannot but take this opportunity to thank them for accepting our invitation and for the continuous support both creators have shown us”, stated Chris Le Galle co-founder of Wicked Comics
