First Official Look At The New Ghostbusters Cast

Oh dear gods WHY could they not have left it alone!!  I get it -an April Fool's joke....no. It's July. Ohhh, crap.

Melissa McCarthy. One very good reason to not watch the movie there -will she screech out like some 'crazy mad woman' at some point?

I know I write "do not judge a film before it is released" but this is the rare exception.

Hollywood =NO MORE IDEA OR ORIGINALITY.

Over to Entertainment Weekly.

Ghostbusters

http://www.ew.com/article/2015/07/10/ghostbusters-official-cast-photo After director Paul Feig tweeted a picture of the new Ghostbusters uniforms hanging and waiting to be worn, we have our first full look at the new bustin’ team suited up.

The new on-set photo reveals Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones, Melissa McCarthy, and Kate McKinnon in the striped jumpsuits, which appear to be missing the Ghostbusters logo that appeared in Feig’s original photo. It’s unclear, however, whether the new crew develops a few iterations of the suit or simply finds a good tailor to patch on the logo (maybe Chris Hemsworth’s receptionist had some free time on his hands).

And, as has been noted by many fans, McKinnon’s look in the photo is surprisingly similar to Egon Spengler in the animated The Real Ghostbusters series.

Feig tweeted out a photo of Leslie Jones, Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, and Kate McKinnon posing in front of the Ecto-1, fully in uniform and each carrying their proton packs. Feig has shown each of these elements individually before.

The Ghostbusters reboot recently added Andy Garcia and Michael K. Williams to the cast, as well as Neil Casey as the film’s villain. Fans will be able to see the new suits in action when Ghostbusters opens in theaters on July 22, 2016.

  1. Next up as a remake, Will Smith in 'Brother Act', closely followed by 'Brother Act 2". Script ideas anyone?

  2. This looks like really bad cosplay. And who is surprised that there are no dudes among the new Ghostbusters ? If this was done by Andy Sidaris we would at least get some bust in Ghost - bust - ers........
