Nice to see that the review of Fun Bag Funnies from 2014 and Scum Bag Funnies plus other old posts are in the Top 10 of CBO today amongst the Cinebook (not heard from them in ages) and Hexagon Comic reviews.
Scum Bag and Fun Bags are possibly some of the most under rated Small Press comics out there. They are true Underground Comics but far more sophisticated. The style and intricacy of the art is something I like and I know it will put any "Woke" into a coma but here is the thing; the stories can be poignant and also very funny. People do not get those things today which is sad as it leaves us with weak, often computer drawn (crudely) and lifeless pulp. The same applies to the work of David Gordon and Bristol based Paul Ashley Brown. Three talents pushed to the fringes and some having now withdrawn from it.
There are only pseudo comicologists out there these days.
Pity.
