  1. I do like the conceit of a 10 cent American price and the tag 'UK Edition's. As I recall Dennis Reader did something similar. It does seem strange that UK creators put superhero characters in an American setting whereas - as you've pointed out - there have been many British superhero stories before, well preceding the advent of the US creations, but I suppose the thrill and escapism of a new environment can't be overlooked.... Africa! India ! The Himalayas ! Desert islands ! Atlantis ! New York. ... compared to the Cotswolds seem quite diverting... but I witter. Have a good day, Terry. Seeya.
