Interesting, isnt it ? The ups and downs of writers and their stories... Gerber wrote some truly weird and wonderful ( occasionally disturbed ) stuff - I believe he was the guy who put the murder elf in the Defenders comics... the one page strip where an elf would randomly turn up at a suburban door and murder whoever opened it; no rhyme no reason: it worked nicely in the dark and twisted NYscape Gerber was crafting.... if it was Gerber.... - anyway; books should never be banned - they are judged by people continuing to buy ( or support ) them - not by the whims of 'the moral right' ... which often changes its mores anyway.... well, I Witter. Apologies. BTW I' m officially OUT OF HOSPITAL ! Let the good times roll !
