PLEASE Consider Supporting CBO

Please consider supporting Comic Bits Online because it is a very rare thing in these days of company mouthpiece blogs that are only interested in selling publicity to you. With support CBO can continue its work to bring you real comics news and expand to produce the video content for this site. Money from sales of Black Tower Comics & Books helps so please consider checking out the online store.

  1. The Golden Age of British comics! Isn't it wonderful ? Acro Maid, Phantom Maid, Electro Girl, Catgirl.... Reader was head of his time... Nd the figures are cool ! Take care, Terry - and enjoy comics....and figures ! TTFN.

  2. He really was. Considering the almost bondage outfit of Cat-Girl (with a whip to boot!) and the fact that the characters were all tough and no compromise he was WELL ahead of his time. Sadly he was never interviewed though Denis Gifford did know him -interviewing creators was not a big thing back then. He was a true pioneer of the feminist character. Have fun (no sign of the package yet so may still be "at sea!)

  3. Yep. Character development is an interesting and under rated concept - especially in retrospect. I hope the package gets to you... Another will be on the way, but much diminished due to 'damage ' - kids will draw on anything ! TTFN Ta Ta.
