PLEASE Consider Supporting CBO
Please consider supporting Comic Bits Online because it is a very rare thing in these days of company mouthpiece blogs that are only interested in selling publicity to you. With support CBO can continue its work to bring you real comics news and expand to produce the video content for this site. Money from sales of Black Tower Comics & Books helps so please consider checking out the online store.
Thank You

I suspect that, at one time, I told you that Boris' sister, Julia, married our vicar at Semer. One Rev. Arthur Donkin who was cox for the rowing at - either Cambridge or Oxford in the late 1800s. His sister knew my grandmother very well and William - Boris' real name - had disappeared. He had emigrated without the family knowing and the next thing his sister knew, she found out he was in films. She saw Frankenstein and said to my gran, "Oh, Adelaide! Don't go and see his film. It's horrible!" I could, if you like, send a picture to you of young William. He is on a pony with a young handler and he is on the drive outside Semer Rectory - which was next door to us at the old house. The rectory burnt down in 1953 during the Suffolk floods. The fire appliance hoses were all bunged up with mud from pumping out and the building couldn't be saved. If you are at the same e-mail, I can send it?
