We get a lot of views from PRC and Hong Kong and although I have asked before I never got a response to the question of whether Manhua/comic readers in those places are interested in non Hong Kong/PRC created comics?
It was back in the 1980s that The Phoenix Team first appeared but the people I was dealing with in the PRC eventually stopped communicating. Part of the supposed project were other China/HK based heroes.
Ben Dilworth inked the pages (only 2 left) featuring Golden Tiger (金虎 Jīn hǔ) and Flying Dragon ( 飞龙 Fēilóng).
As most regulars will know I love Manhua and have been collecting what I can since the 1980s.
It would be interesting to hear from our Chinese readers...maybe even a Chinese publisher!
