I apologise for the language but how fucking dumb are comic buyers?
I heard Saturday and since that prices on comics that are 3, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 30 years old have "had to increase due to Brexit".
How does a decision in June affect comics that have sat around in boxes and shops for years gathering dust and that are not selling? It does not.
This is a pure and simple con by comic shops and dealers because they have seen sales of new books drop dramatically and still want to screw their customers (industry word is "suckers") on everything they can.
Brexit does not affect pre-June 2016 back issues because they were bought at the old price so "I really, really do not want to charge more but Brexit..." is a lie. Your local shop offers you that one go somewhere else.
I mean, really?
Grow a brain cell and understand these are not all friendly, struggling to survive comic shop owners who love you. You are piggy banks to be opened whenever they want. And you will give willingly.
