Oh, I am soooooo kind. Rather than make you wait here is the third and final set of illoes.
I know people just pinch these things and use them but please at least give credit to where you got them from: I cracked the annuals open and spent time scanning and cleaning them up so that should not be too much to ask.
A wonderful selection of scans. . . .it was a different era. I often wonder, what have we lost? Too much of the joy of imagination, I fear .... too much. Nostalgia is the salve of many scars.
ReplyDeleteIt was paper, pencil, brush or pen and that helped give things a nice solid look but today its draw on computer, letter by computer, colour by computer....but they catch anyone using AI to make a cover...Grrrrrrrr. It's the stupidity of those running comics (mainly the editors) who have everything done by computer but because there is artist backlash against AI they jump in to virtue signal. The sound and feel on inked on paper and smell of ink...better than the smell of napalm first thing in the morning!
