Dear Reader,

We seem to have placed this month under the sign of the child and growing up. So, let’s dive right in with our first title, and the return of taciturn Mountie Trent, who’s on duty beyond the Arctic Circle this time. But neither the loneliness nor the boredom will have much chance to get to him, when he finds himself entertaining a rather young guest! Same era, but further south this time, with a new Lucky Luke: the lonesome cowboy must supervise the Daltons as they play ‘uncle’ to the son of their cousin Emmett. Between the four brothers’ usual misbehaving, and having to make sure they don’t ruin the kid’s education, Luke has his work cut out for him … Finally, Thorgal returns! Well, the series does, because this time around, it’s his son Jolan who takes centre stage, and we see a lot less of his adopted Viking father. It’s time for the boy to leave the nest and become an adult, and what better way than a dangerous quest and a few deadly trials, hmm? February with Cinebook – the magic of childhood preserved!
