The Stepanerks, those strange aliens who sometimes mingle with Humans, have contacted another, as yet undiscovered, alien species that has been guarding Altair for centuries. Those guardians want to forcefully evict Humans, who are doing terrible damage to the ecosystem. But Paul, unwitting ‘guest’ at their meeting, defended Humanity’s right to a second chance. It now falls to him to convince the Human colonial authorities to change everyone’s behaviour….

I am assuming that vol. 5 (this one) is the last book. Look at that cover. Catches the eye and you start wanting to read it -no “going for a casual stroll on our beastie” here.

Paul takes the big guy to Earth and there isa lot going on including Paul finding out his old girlfriend has moved on. Oh, and a “bit of a scuffle” with land pirates in which we see Stepanerk do his best try-out for The Avengers (kidding). Also the “Hello, Humans” press conference. Ahem. Action, story and lovely art by icar. All wrapped up in a tidy ending so I can sit down and read 1-5 again.

Cool.
