PLEASE Consider Supporting CBO
Please consider supporting Comic Bits Online because it is a very rare thing in these days of company mouthpiece blogs that are only interested in selling publicity to you. With support CBO can continue its work to bring you real comics news and expand to produce the video content for this site. Money from sales of Black Tower Comics & Books helps so please consider checking out the online store.

Very off topic, but as I readying to go back to hospital to have a bit more cut out , I've had time to review Sherlock Holmes , both TV movies.... Edward Woodward, Christopher Lee, Jeremy Brett, Peter Cushing etc al.... and I've come to the conclusion that - while the stories were sometimes lacking - Basil Rathbone was the personification of the character. Hate me if you like. Basil was best ! TTFN
ReplyDeleteDespite Cushing, etc. I think Rathbone and Bruce (s Watson) were the two that really embodied the parts and their 1930s-1940s run is still very popular. Good luck and speedy recovery!
