Well, typical start to a New Year. Two people who were at the party with top DC and Marvel editors noted how one person dared raise a question about work and how characterisation and story quality was sinking and was told "You don't like it then **** off and get a job somewhere else!"
Apparently one senior editor when asked about hand problem responded that it was "repetitive strain injury from milking all the cows (fans)!"
I no longer get surprised by this as over 15 years ago I noted the companies were treating fans as cash cows -do a search on CBO. Also, two UK comic bloggers (or web site owners as they like to call themselves) reiterated to certain British comic creators that they would post nothing on their sites about "Certain accusations" because "we take care of our own".
Comics really can be a despicable business and I often wonder if there are any honest people out there!
