CLALLAM BAY - 3 July. Special Guest Diana Kennedy can attend the Clallam Bay Comicon after all. Her passport has been found.
Kennedy was attacked and robbed by two young females in the Paris area, where she was attending another comics and illustration festival. Until she was able to return home, she was unable to ascertain whether her passport had been in her stolen luggage. Fortunately, the passport was in her apartment.
Kennedy was not injured, but shocked, and has recovered. She is looking forward to her trip to the United States, which she calls "The dream of a lifetime." Everyone involved with the comicon is glad she is safe and will arrive for the event as planned.
The comicon takes place this year July 8-9, in the Clallam Bay Lion's Club, on Washington State's Olympic Peninsula. More information at http://www.donnabarr.com
