PLEASE Consider Supporting CBO

Please consider supporting Comic Bits Online because it is a very rare thing in these days of company mouthpiece blogs that are only interested in selling publicity to you. With support CBO can continue its work to bring you real comics news and expand to produce the video content for this site. Money from sales of Black Tower Comics & Books helps so please consider checking out the online store.

  1. Complaining about the prices ....complaining about the prices - and I agree they are crazy... but the details and the paint jobs seem excellent. Well, you get what you pay for I suppose... But that seemed different with the X Men figures in a previous video

  2. Sorry ' bout that. I got slightly interrupted there. Anyhoo... I went and watched the Return of Captain Invincible... What hoot ! For a movie that features songs from the Rocky Horror creators and musical numbers by Christopher Lee it was as maniacal as I thought it would be - and WAY over the top. 1983 ? Wasn't that the same year as the Captain America made- for- TV movie ? Anyway. Crazy musical. Christopher Lee was unbelievable. TTFN.

    1. I think that "Toy lips" in his video was spot on. Firstly these figures are all made cut price in China and the manufacturers then stamp a big price on them to make sure they get maximum money back. With Warhammer 40K they just shove their price up to ridiculous amonunts and people complain and then...buy. They do NOT want to miss out. Same with comics. Same with toy figures. If people stopped buying then manufacturers would have to reduce prices but no -"they might not make any more!" so pay through the nose. Its very complex and based on collectors daftness. As Toy Lips says -"I allow it. You allow it. We ALL allow it"...that will not change.
