...to find work in publishing because I need to eat and pay bills, I sent my Cv to a couple of UK publishers. One told me that I had more qualifications in my background than him...and he ran the company. The other person to respond told me I was "too well qualified to be looking for anything other than senior management positions" in publishing.
Both asked whether I had tried the United States?
