The Scroll Of Nicodemus

In Pennsylvania, Olrik escapes a federal prison by helicopter after a bloody attack. With Blake forced to cut short his holidays at the news, a disappointed Mortimer turns his attention to Greece, where an earthquake has uncovered an ancient chapel.

Before long, people are trying to kill Mortimer over a mysterious Roman silver coin. Could the long-lost relic be one of the 30 denarii paid to Judas for his betrayal of Jesus? And who exactly covets it so much?
That cover is a bit of a spoiler.  Buy the book and you’ll see what I mean!

I just opened up and started reading this book without checking the credits.  I really enjoyed the writing and characterisation and as I got to the last page I realised I needed to see who had written it.

Van Hamme.

Is there anything he does not write??

And the art was spot on and worked well.  I’d like to think Edgar P. Jacobs would be happy with this. The art by Rene Sterne and Chantal De Spiegeleer works well and the colour work –by Spiegeleer and Laurence Croix make this a damn good read and I cannot wait for the second part of this story.

The series is going from strength to strength.
