From The Guardian online...where else??
Director Zack Snyder has shown off the first glimpse of Ben Affleck in
his new Batman v Superman film – which still doesn't have a title, but
does have a car
Zack Snyder, director of the forthcoming Batman v Superman film which
is still without an official title, has unveiled the first look at Ben
Affleck's Batman. An image
on Snyder's Twitter account shows a stocky, glowering Affleck alongside
the new iteration of the Batmobile – a similarly moody and hulking
brute.
Snyder had teased the Batmobile in an image on Monday, showing it covered in a tarpaulin. His film, following his Superman movie Man of Steel last year, will feature Henry Cavill returning to the role of Superman as well as Jesse Eisenberg playing Lex Luthor.
Ben Affleck's wife, Jennifer Garner, had previously alluded to the new Batman suit being a "total reinvention", and the changes are already evident: stubbier ears for one, a grubby matte finish, and a bulging physique that makes even Christian Bale's look lean. The film began shooting in October last year, and will reach cinemas in 2015.

I must confess, it's one I'm looking forward to.
ReplyDeleteHi,Kid. Well, I lost interest in the comics of both characters as they were milked to death. And if I saw one more re-booted Superman or Batman movie...!! BUT this sounds interesting. Odd that DC had a big screen super hero presence decades before Marvel but it has taken THIS long for a World's Finest get-together!
ReplyDeleteOh, Subzero has mentioned your blog a few times on Tales From The Kryptonian -he's enjoying a lot of the posts!
;-)
