The Gorilla Hunters!

Makes you want to go out and hunt gorillas..not.

Personally, I think if you go around killing primates you need to be imprisoned if not shot. But that's just me.

do you know HOW the brave German officer Berenger got his gorillas and thus 'discovered' them?

He was out on patrol with a company of Askari (native troops) and spotted "man-like things" moving along some slopes.

In proud Western tradition he had the machine gun set up and blasted away -the gorillas falling dead and their bodies recovered. Gorillas soon learnt what men do.

Its all in my book.

No one buys my books but its there!

  1. The unfortunate, tragic history of Man, the view that man is the centre of everything, and every other creature on the planet and every other creature on the planet is a target for his 'special care'.
