I heard rumours but, Stan Lee is getting on now so...
Big Apple Comic Con—NYC’s oldest (and wildest) Comic Book & Pop Culture convention—returns Saturday and Sunday, March 11-12 to the Penn Plaza Pavilion at the Hotel Pennsylvania.
However, one key guest is missing.
Big Apple Comic Con has just been informed that due to health issues Stan Lee will no longer be appearing at the convention on either Saturday, March 11th or Sunday, March 12th. Stan keeps to an amazing schedule and it seems to have taken its toll. We are terribly sorry for any inconvenience but the show must go on. We are going to have a tremendous weekend loaded with great guests, exhibitors and events. Let's all wish Stan well and party like you know he wants us to!
In Stan Lee’s place is the amazing JIM LEE coming to save the day!
Making a rare convention appearance, Jim Lee (no relation to Stan Lee) will be flying in from Los Angeles and will be signing autographs to all Big Apple Comic Con attendees from 10:30am-1:30pm on Saturday, March 11th. An early admission ticket to Big Apple Comic Con will get you a FREE autograph from JIM LEE.
Jim Lee is best known for Image Comics, which celebrated its 25th anniversary earlier this year. He has worked on many great titles, such as X-Men, Superman, Batman, Justice League, Gen13, and Wildstorm. He is currently the co-publisher of DC Comics, along with Dan DiDio.
Big Apple Comic Con has many great guests, including Frank Miller (Sin City, 300), Barbara Eden (I Dream of Jeannie), Jason David Frank (Power Rangers), Spencer Wilding (Darth Vader in Rogue One), and many more! Attendees will also enjoy a host of panels, celebrity Q&A sessions, workshops, cosplay contests, an Intergalactic Cosplay Dance Party and super events for kids of every age and species.
Big Apple Comic Con will be this weekend, Saturday, March 11th to Sunday, March 12th at the Penn Plaza Pavilion in the Hotel Pennsylvania in Manhattan, New York (right across from Madison Square Garden). The location is easily accessible by the 1, 2, 3, A, B, C, D, E, F, N, and R trains.
