PLEASE Consider Supporting CBO

Please consider supporting Comic Bits Online because it is a very rare thing in these days of company mouthpiece blogs that are only interested in selling publicity to you. With support CBO can continue its work to bring you real comics news and expand to produce the video content for this site. Money from sales of Black Tower Comics & Books helps so please consider checking out the online store.

Lieutenant Doumet has, in his opinion, one of the best jobs going: that of an astronaut. On one mission he and two colleagues have ringside seats to the close approach of a comet.  An incredible and beautiful cosmic show with deadly consequences.

His crew mates dead, Doumet finds himself recuperating back on Earth.  But he is no longer the man he was!

I was going to say that the art was a little rough in places, however, excluding the colour work, Minne writes, draws and inks.  In fact, this is quite a fun comic  and I never found the art a problem. It runs smoothly. And here is a perfect example of the CBO/Tales From The Kryptonian postings a few weeks back on why you can create British, German or even French super heroes who do not live in the USA.  The opening action is set in Paris and nothing seemed out of place.

There is a question and answer page with Minne as well as some of the preliminary costume sketches he drew for the character.  A fun comic.
