Please consider supporting Comic Bits Online because it is a very rare thing in these days of company mouthpiece blogs that are only interested in selling publicity to you. With support CBO can continue its work to bring you real comics news and expand to produce the video content for this site. Money from sales of Black Tower Comics & Books helps so please consider checking out the online store.

Mr Stransky -Regent Park Ghost
I lightened the cover and look at it those gel pens certainly give a strange effect. Looks nice and colourful.
The company uses different printers (I think they only have one in the UK now) and as there is no quality control like there used to be (from file to folding and stapling no human involved) you have to hit the contrast and brightness on covers carefully or you get too dark and with the Ghost of Regent's Park I wanted to make sure that the quality was good (the photocopy was a little dark) and I think how it turned out is better than I expected and has that Roger Corman special effects look! Mind you, after 41 years what do I know??
Roger Corman effect.... nicely put. Horror is on the eye of the beholder...the unseen is a much a factor as the schlock and gore of some/many horror stories. Let the unseen and hinted at rule ! Goodnight. TTFN.
Goriest thing I never saw! In Theatre of Blood Vincent Price breaks into Arthur Lowe's home and while Lowe's characters wife sleeps next to him....Price saws off his head. I was wincing all the way but NOTHING was shown as it was all side effects and beheading off camera. Incredible use of sound effects to make a non-scene truly scary!
Nice job, Terry. Those gel colours are a bastard to control ! Thanks for the lightening work. Looks much better. TTFN.
