When D-Gruppe started -I am referring to published nothing that came before- it was a lot darker. Revenge of the Ice Queen started with hundreds dying at the Externsteine. It was the 1980s and things were a lot grimmer and darker.
It's all veered into super heroics even if some of those heroes are...weird. Days of Terror would have seen...uh, no, I want to draw that so no spoilers. We had hints that something was going wrong with the Godling Waldmeister during The Green Skies. Anyway, had things all gone as planned there would have been several big storylines; the Zeitgeist Saga was one of those.
What happens when Klaus von Happe, aka Kopfmann returns from space (he and some of the team vanished while chasing a UFO during the Return of the Gods) ? Well, for one thing he will be back to where he was supposed to be and also back to his rather snappy, angry and "I am better than you" persona.
One thing is for sure and that is D-Gruppe will never be the same again.
