PLEASE Consider Supporting CBO

Please consider supporting Comic Bits Online because it is a very rare thing in these days of company mouthpiece blogs that are only interested in selling publicity to you. With support CBO can continue its work to bring you real comics news and expand to produce the video content for this site. Money from sales of Black Tower Comics & Books helps so please consider checking out the online store.
Thank You

  1. Nicely wild cover, Terry ! It makes the Silvermaigne cover look tame ! Thank you for putting the Le Fun material and the Attacker material in two 'stand alone' books. Side note; I'll copy off 2 Dark Hope #1's and 2 #2's for the November mart - I'll put something in the post early next week ( it's Sunday here ).
    Cheers and take it easy.

  2. Well, Dr LeFun may be a bit later than December. If I can sell books in November then I can afford to get a pay-by-month pdf maker and then I have all the books ready. At the moment I have to search through the box "******** masses of Dilworth Art" to find all the pages to your redrawn Dr LeFun origin. The Attacker. I replaced the original cover -same image but lettering that I found was hard to read "Attacker" (trying to be arty)- and I'm thinking that I'll put what original strips I have left (VERY few) as a sort of "Originally" feature then the new ones from you but there are not that many so I may have to do some new ones (I have a few popping up in my head). What I want to do is get all the books ready and so everything is prepared and all I have to do ("all"!!!) is convert them to pdf docs to publish. That way I can get as many books out as I need in a month. That said, despite more than a few promises from people I've been in touch with, nothing selling from the online store. Exactly what I expected to be honest as even people I know whose books I've bought have not reciprocated or shown the slightest interest in mine. In fact, a couple of people I've worked with have, it seems, decided to ignore any emails from me. Welcome to comics. We could all write letter after letter and exchange packages weekly in pre-computer days and now look -email straight to a person...no. Dark Hope's always welcome!

  3. Just to annoy people who do NOT like it. Yesterday my Google+ had 818,254 views. Today it has risen to 821,960. Which means the views via Google+ almost match (sometimes exceed) those daily on CBO that are registered here. Yah-Boo-and Sucks!

  6. Nice figures. I think that the mix of news and articles and predictions and your own stuff advertised sometimes, keeps people coming back to check just what you've put up next. Unpredictability and quality. A good mix for anything. Just keep it fresh and keep it going.... and take care of your health.

  7. Am I back on FB? No. I just forward new posts there. I have nothing to do with it (especially as it appears I've been stabbed in the back again) just put up a new BT header. What attracts readers? No idea. I've posted Avengers movie stuff before and high hits -Age of Ultron official trailer? Only 8 followed the link. So I just post what I want.

  8. And comics wise. Yes, I'm totally burned out and do not care. There said it.

  9. october 27th Just finished teaching 8 classes. 8. I need to be teaching 15 or more. 841,659. Good numbers. And as for burned out - it's only a temporary state. How do I know ? It happens to me on a weekly basis - I'm not kidding - and then I find something I'm interested in. And then it all starts again. The 'highs' are worth it - and the lows are crushing. Sadly, that's life.
